A look back at our last six months at creators house
Naturally, we spend most of our time looking ahead, building for the future, shaping what the blueprint of Creators House will be. But it’s of course also healthy to take some time to reflect on our journey, reflect on what we have done well, and how we can be better.
Our last 6 months has been hectic to say the least, in January we moved to a new space that is 5 times bigger than before, so we had to adapt and grow very quickly. Not to mention having to design a whole new space to fit our premium aesthetic.
But with this blessing of a bigger space, we have been able to impact so many more underserved creatives, elevate the experience we are offering, but more importantly it has allowed us to dream bigger. This space has allowed us to see beyond these 4 walls, and see how we can impact underserved young creatives across the UK and Europe!
Please take some time to look through what we have achieved in the last 6 months and what support we need to continue to impact young creatives across Camden, London and beyond…

why our work is important
our achievements
-
Premium Studio
Moving to our new studio has really allowed us to level up the experience we offer young creatives.
-
Therapy Program
Brining on 4 new trainee therapists has allowed us to get through our long waiting list a lot faster.
-
Co-Working Space
This space has allowed us to be very intentional about bringing our community together.
-
YouTube Event
This event was a huge success, seeing over 75 underserved creatives build more confidence to thrive.
-
Street Billboard
Who would have thought that in just under a year of opening, we would be celebrating 2 street billboards!
-
Government Support
This was probably the biggest piece of recognition for our work, and the credibility we need to move forward.

What our members say…
Here is a small selection of review videos from our members. Hear directly from the young people on the impact we have.
Chelsea Hartley, Google Review
“This place is an absolute life saver. the staff are so helpful, the facilities are immaculate & it’s free for under 25s. every time I’ve been here it’s been an amazing experience. I’ve used the podcast space, co-working space and editing suite.”
Therapy feedback
“I am extremely grateful for the service that you have provided and allowed me to have access to. I have been supported creatively previously by Creators House, but this time I have been supported emotionally. Diana is an incredible person professionally and as a human. Without her, I don’t think I would have been able to move forward pass the traumatic events that occurred in my life. She has really helped me understand myself and helped me analyse myself from the third person view. I looked forward to seeing her every week and despite my progress feeling slow because of myself, she was always there to help me make sense of my emotions and choices. I honestly think that I have no negative comment to make about any of the experience that I’ve had. She has helped me feel equipped to move forward in life while everything isn’t perfect, she has taught me how to deal with the imperfections. I cannot wait to pass on my own knowledge and help other people the way that I have been helped by you and your service. Thank you again, I am eternally grateful.”

Our audacious goal
In order to create long term systemic change, we aim to…
Own our own creative facility in Camden
And creative studios across UK and Europe
risk of shutting down in December 23!
As an organisation we have enough funding to last us until December 2023, if we do not raise £200,000 by then, we risk having to shut down permanently or at minimum close down until we find the funding to reopen at a different location.
thank you!
On behalf of the Creators House founders and wider team, we would like to say thank you to everyone that has supported us so far. Your encouragement, connections, advise, guidance, funding and much more, really does help shape what Creators House is. It takes a village to create something like this, and you have all played a part in one way or another.
But unfortunately, as a new organisation we are not in the privileged position to be able to have long term sustainability. We have always been chasing the next 6-12 months worth of reserves, and unfortunately we are currently in a position where if we don’t secure more funding we may have to shut our doors. Which would of course hinder thousands of young creatives from achieving their dreams.
We will continue our conversations with you all and keep pushing to ensure we keep inspiring and impacting young creatives everywhere.
