Creators House Terms & Conditions

I. Definitions 

In these conditions the following expressions have the following meanings: 

● “Creators House”, “Studio” or “Premises” – the site of Creators House (including the building) for the time being where the services and Equipment are provided. 

● “The Client” – any person dealing with Creators House and using the Premises. ● “Accompanying Third Party” – any person accompanying the Client and using the Studio premises under the same time Period of the booking. 

● “Equipment” – shall include all provided apparatus, lighting and other materials provided by Creators House, including but not limited to apparatus in the Studio. 

● “Period” – means the time or times reserved under these conditions. 

● “Staff” or “Staff members” – an employee or volunteer who is hired to perform a job and assist the Client while using the Equipment and Premises. 

II. General 

1. The Client must include set up and take down/clean up time within the Period booked. 2. No food or drink is to be consumed in the Studio at any time. 

3. The Client must ensure that all minors under the age of 16 are always accompanied by a chaperone. Minors must have a parent's or guardian’s signed Consent Form to be at our Premises, and/or to be photographed or filmed as relevant. Minor’s usage of Creators House must be in line with the Safeguarding Policy. 

4. Unless agreed otherwise, the Client agrees for Creators House to the use of photographic content of the Client and accompanying third parties on social media platforms. 

5. The Client is advised that the Client’s original files created during their booked Period in the Studio are stored by Creators House for 14 days from the date of their booking of the Studio, after which time they will be deleted. 

6. The Client is required to inform the Staff in case of suffering from epilepsy or other medical conditions if using lighting Equipment as it might cause seizures. 

7. The Client must not, without prior permission, use the Premises for commercial purposes or directed towards, commercial advantage or monetary compensation by an individual or organization.

III. Studio Hire 

8. The Client, of over the 18 years of age, hereby accepts responsibility for being in charge of and on the Premises at all times for the duration of the hiring Period and for ensuring that all conditions, under these Terms and Conditions, relating to management and supervision of the Premises are met. 

9. The Studio must not be ever left unattended. The Client must inform the Staff in case of leaving the Studio. 

10. The Client shall ensure that the minimum of noise is made at arrival, departure and during the Period spent at the Studio particularly on weekdays between 9am to 5pm. 

11. The Client shall ensure that no animals except guide dogs are brought into the Premises. 12. The Studio is fitted with CCTVs. Images are recorded for the purpose of crime prevention and Staff safety and are stored for 30 days to claim for any damages incurred during the booking. Any attempt to circumvent, obstruct or tamper with the security systems will be considered a breach of these Terms and Conditions and the Studio has the right to terminate the booking. 13. The Studio is available for the exclusive use of the Client named in the booking and Accompanying Third Party and the Client is not permitted to sub-contract, sub-let or otherwise permit any third party to utilize the Studio without the prior written consent of Creators House. 14. No smoking (including vaping and e-cigarettes) is permitted inside the Studio or throughout the Premises. 

15. No illegal drugs may be brought onto the Premises. Drunk and disorderly behavior shall not be permitted on the Premises. Any person suspected of being drunk, under the influence of drugs or who is behaving in a violent or disorderly way shall be asked to leave the Premises in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003. 

16. No alterations or additions may be made to the Premises nor may any fixtures be installed or placards, decorations or other articles be attached in any way to any part of the Premises. 

IV. Equipment 

17. All Equipment supplied to the Client is in good condition. The Client must notify the Studio at the time of supply if the condition of the Equipment is not acceptable. 

18. The Client may not without the written consent of Creators House: 

a. Remove the Equipment from the Premises; or 

b. Modify or alter or tamper with the Equipment in any way; nor 

c. Use the Equipment in a manner not recommended by the manufacture 

V. Liability 

19. Creators House cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to any Equipment or personal property (including loss of files based on SD card corruption) of the Client or related parties. Anything left at the Studio will be disposed of or given to charity if not claimed back within 24 hours. No Client related property and Equipment will be covered by any insurance held by Creators House including anything left overnight.

20. Creators House does offer support with equipment set up and advanced setting, however it is the Client’s responsibility to check the final setting pre-recording including focus, resolution and making sure the content is being recorded. 

21. Clients are responsible for any breakages, losses or damages caused to the Premises or Equipment by the Client, or any other person(s) during booking time. 

22. The Client shall be liable for the cost of repair of any damage, breakage or losses (including accidental and malicious damage) and/or replacement cost for any missing or damaged Equipment. The Client is required to pay a deposit prior to departure if such damage occurs. 

VI. Death and Injuries 

23. Creators House is responsible for ensuring that the Premises are covered by Public Liability Insurance no. CG02007827. 

24. The Client is advised not to use any electrical appliances brought by the Client or Accompanying Third Party to the premises. If the Client proceeds in using electrical appliances brought by the Client or Accompanying Third Party to the premises, the Client is doing so at their own risk. 

25. Creators House is not liable for any death or injury occasioned to the Client or Accompanying Third Party by the use of the Studio or any Equipment unless such death or injury is directly attributable to the negligence of Creators House or a Staff member of Creators House. 

VII. Applicable Law 

26. These Conditions shall be read and construed in accordance with the Laws of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
